This 100% cultivated agave Tobala mezcal has aromas of lemon, green pepper and pear. On the palate, there are notes of citrus, basil, roasted fig, macadamia, and truffle.
Mezcal Los Javis is an artisanal spirit and the product of a longstanding family tradition. Hand-selected agave is roasted in a conical stone oven, tahona milled, and naturally fermented in wooden vats. Mezcal Los Javis is distilled in small copper pots and is individually bottled and hand numbered. Espadin is Oaxaca's most cultivated maguey for its high sugar content and ease of reproduction. Los Javis Espadin maguey grows in the humid and arid central valleys of Oaxaca and takes eight to twelve years to reach full maturity.
